In this hybrid interdisciplinary course, learners apply a bioethics lens to evaluate applications of neurotechnologies across the medical and consumer sectors, and how they may be used by organizations such as the military, workplaces, and schools. Learners attend bi-weekly tutorials and complete 4 asynchronous online modules:
- Module 1: Introduction to Neurotech and Neuroethics
- Module 2: Medical Neurotech
- Module 3: Consumer Neurotech
- Module 4: Organizational Uses of Neurotech
You will complete assessments to demonstrate your skill and knowledge development, and upon successful completion receive a digital micro-credential via Accredible that you can display on your LinkedIN and resume.

This course targets students enrolled in undergraduate or graduate degree programs, or industry professionals looking to fill skill and knowledge gaps in neuroscience and neurotechnology. We require that you are enrolled in, or have previously graduated from, an undergraduate degree program. Exceptions can be made with permission from the director.
